In the event of a claim, please report it to the Claims Company within 31 days following the settlement of your claim for damage to your vehicle by your Motor Vehicle Insurer.
You will be issued with a Claim Reference Number, which should be quoted on all subsequent correspondence and a claim form will also be sent to you.

Please return your completed claim form to the Claims Company together with those items of the supporting documentation set out below that are relevant to your claim:-
- Copy of your Policy issued by Insure4Excess
- Copy of the Certificate issued by Your Insurer
- Receipt from Your Insurer repairer detailing your payment of the Excess
- Name and address of your bank together with the sort code and account details. This will facilitate reimbursement as the insurance company prefers to make the payment directly to your bank.

Step one - check your Certificate
Read this Certificate first so that you are satisfied that you are covered for the claim you want to make. Read any Exclusions that may apply and make sure you understand them.
Step two - notify the claim
All claims must be notified to our Claim Administrator, their details are below. You should do this within 30 days of receiving settlement of the claim under your main insurance policy. If you do not, it might mean that we will be unable to reimburse you for the excess. Please contact:

Please tell them the policy reference number which will be shown in your insurance schedule.
If you are not sure whether you can claim, please talk to the Claim Administrator who will be happy to help you.
Step three - after the claim is notified
The Claim Administrator will send you a claim form, which you should fill in and send back to them as soon as possible.
You must also provide a copy of the settlement letter from the insurer of your main insurance policy giving details of the date of the claim incident and which clearly states the amount of the excess.
The Claim Administrator will tell you if they need any more information or documentation from you.
