Excess is the amount that you have to pay if you make a claim on your insurance policy. Generally, the higher your excess is, the lower your premium will be. We offer two types of product which are the Lifestyle Excess and Motor Excess policies. Prices for our Lifestyle range start at just £49 and our Motor Excess product from only £39. The Lifestyle product cover the excess that is payable on the five main insurances below, and can be purchased at any time throughout the year to provide 3 different levels of excess cover. Home Insurance Motor Insurance Health Insurance Travel Insurance Pet Insurance Our Motor Excess policy enables you to reduce your annual Motor Insurance Premium by having a higher limit on your policy. The Motor Excess product can only be purchased within seven days of your renewal or purchase date of your Main Motor Insurance Policy. Should you have a valid claim that exceeds the policy excess we will reimburse the total excess deducted by your insurance company after the claim has been settled.
Example of how Excess Works:You have a Silver £500 Excess policy with us. You have a £500 Excess on your main insurance policy. A claim is made to the amount of £1200. You are liable pay the first £500, and the Insurance Company pays the remaining balance of £700. Once the valid claim has been settled, we will reimburse you for the £500 excess amount.
